Tasting Notes
Light yellow in color, fruity and floral bouquet, with noticeable citrus notes, which add a crisp acidic note.
Terroir
Clay-based soil that partially consists of sedimentary rocks. Together, the structure of the soil and the continental climate make Kangun into a medium-bodied white wine while maintaining its unique, aromatic character.
Winemaker: from a dream to reality
Tushpa is the dream of Mihran Manasserian who studied winemaking at the Armenian National Agrarian University during the Soviet Union era and worked for different wineries. In 1992, after the Soviet Union collapsed, he bought and planted six hectares of vines located 35 kilometers from Yerevan and nestled below the Biblical Mt. Ararat. It was a hard time for many in the country, but Mihran believed in TUSHPA and was able to build a great success.
